How it works
Made for how parents actually shop.
-
Snap & sell
Photo in, listing out. The app drafts the title, size and age range in seconds — no forms.
-
Local first
Browse families in your neighbourhood. Most handoffs happen on the way to the park or at the school gate.
-
Gentler all round
Every item that finds another family is one less thing bought new — kinder on wallets and the planet.
About us
Two cousins, one small idea.
Kids grow fast. A three-year-old can go through three clothing sizes in a single year, and most families quietly absorb that — buying new, on repeat — because the alternatives ask too much.
We’re two cousins from Berlin: one works in tech, the other alongside adults with disabilities. Our family shows up for each other — hand-me-downs passed across half a city. TinyO makes that kind of help a little easier for everyone.
FAQ
Common questions
Is TinyO free for families?
Yes — listing and browsing are free. We want it to feel like passing things between neighbours.
How is TinyO different from other marketplaces?
Generic marketplaces don’t know that size 86 is roughly a 12–18-month-old. TinyO listings are organised by age, size, season and category, and a single photo is enough to create one.
What can I buy and sell?
Second-hand and new kids’ clothes, toys, strollers, bouncers, books and the rest of the gear small children outgrow in months.
Does TinyO handle payments?
No. Payment and handover are arranged directly between families. We recommend meeting in person and checking the item.
Where is TinyO available?
TinyO is available for iPhone now — scan the code on this page or tap the App Store button on your phone. Android is coming soon.
Ready when you are.
Download TinyO and give outgrown things a second home.
